This platform enables researchers to apply for, and manage, their Health Research Awards online.

This system should work on all major browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. However, as Microsoft stopped security updates and technical support for all versions of Internet Explorer below IE11 in January 2016, we would not recommend using Internet Explorer.
To begin an application, please create a user account by clicking on the 'Register' button below.
Your email address may already be in the system if you have previously interacted with the HRB. If you find that this is the case, please click on ‘Forgot password?’. The system will then email you instructions to reset your password.
After you have logged in, to begin an application for an award, under the New Grant Application section, click on the blue link to take you to the list of Open schemes. Click on the ‘Apply’ link to start your application.
Please Note: Host Institutions will approve and submit each application on behalf of the applicant. Please make this a time consideration when preparing your grant application. There is only one deadline for submission of applications. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the host institution approves the application before the application deadline.
